Bryan ISD Education Foundation

The Bryan ISD Education Foundation is a 501(c)3 organization that raises financial resources to elevate student achievement and support educators across the district.

The Foundation consists of dedicated community members who are passionate about expanding the learning opportunities for BISD students by providing teacher grant awards and scholarship opportunities for outgoing seniors. Through the generous giving of local families and businesses, the Education Foundation was able to award over $418,000 in the 2025-2026 school year to teacher and student initiatives. Two new permanent initiatives were also launched: a staff scholarship program to increase the accessibility of teacher certification credentials and the PAWS Program which provides trained comfort dogs for Bryan ISD campuses.

Bringing Comfort, Connection, and Care to Our Campuses

The PAWS Program brings professionally trained comfort dogs into Bryan ISD elementary, intermediate, and secondary campuses, offering an extra layer of emotional and social support for both students and staff. These highly trained dogs are more than just visitors—they become trusted companions and valued members of the school community.

Each service dog has a specific role, whether it’s greeting students at the door, sitting with a child who needs reassurance, or providing a calming presence during stressful situations like testing or transitions. Their presence helps create a warm, welcoming atmosphere where students feel safe, supported, and ready to learn. 

Your support makes this possible. Donations help provide the everyday care our PAWS pups need—from food and supplies to ongoing care and training—and help us bring more comfort dogs to Bryan ISD campuses.
