Howdy! Thank you for visiting the Save Texas Moms Brazos Valley Gives page and for caring about the health and well-being of mothers, babies, and families in our community. Your generosity helps ensure that mothers and families across our region have access to trusted information, essential resources, and potentially life-saving support during pregnancy and the postpartum period.

Save Texas Moms is a statewide maternal-health nonprofit based in the Brazos Valley. We work to improve access to safe, high-quality maternal healthcare through education, practical support, resource navigation, advocacy, and community partnerships. Today, we serve mothers and families in more than 65 Texas counties while continuing to expand partnerships throughout the Brazos Valley.

Five of the seven counties in the Brazos Valley are designated maternity care deserts, where access to obstetric providers and birthing hospitals is limited or unavailable. That is why strong local partnerships and community support are so important.

For pregnant and postpartum mothers in rural communities, receiving care may require traveling long distances, finding reliable transportation, navigating unfamiliar healthcare systems, or overcoming financial and technological barriers. These challenges make trusted local support essential.

Rather than working alone, we bring together libraries, healthcare providers, universities, nonprofits, and community organizations so families can find help closer to home. Our work includes:

• Pregnancy and postpartum health education
• Blood-pressure screenings and heart-health programs
• Education about urgent maternal warning signs
• Digital-literacy workshops and technology access
• Connections to healthcare, food, diapers, transportation, and other essential resources
• Outreach in rural and underserved communities

Because of your support, more mothers will learn the warning signs of pregnancy complications, monitor their blood pressure, connect with healthcare and community resources, and receive the support they need for healthier pregnancies and stronger families.
