Helping Our Community Since 1993

Lee Chapel Food Pantry is a community outreach ministry of Lee Chapel Church in Bryan, Texas. For nearly 30 years, the pantry has worked to help individuals and families experiencing food insecurity and other financial hardships throughout the Brazos Valley.

Our ministry was created in response to a need we saw within our community. Today, that need continues, and we remain committed to providing food, clothing, household essentials, and other resources to neighbors who need assistance.

More Than Food

Through partnerships, donations, volunteers, and community support, Lee Chapel Food Pantry provides assistance that goes beyond a monthly food distribution.

• Holiday food assistance
• New and gently used clothing
• Winter coats and blankets
• Household and personal-care items 
• School supplies and other community necessities
• Food deliveries to seniors and individuals who are sick or have limited transportation

We serve individuals and families throughout Brazos County and surrounding counties, including Milam, Robertson, and Burleson counties.

Community Programs

The Share the Joy program began as an outreach effort of Lee Chapel Church to provide Thanksgiving and Christmas food assistance to individuals and families referred by schools and other community organizations. Over time, the program grew and evolved into what is now Lee Chapel Food Pantry, allowing the ministry to provide food assistance throughout the year while continuing its tradition of helping families during the Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons.

Today, Lee Chapel Food Pantry continues the mission of Share the Joy by providing monthly food assistance as well as special holiday food distributions. Through donations, volunteers, and partnerships, we work to help families, seniors, and individuals have food on their tables throughout the year and during the holidays.

Our winter outreach has also included Coats for Kids, providing new coats, blankets, and comforters to children during the colder months. In December 2025, the pantry distributed approximately 75 new and gently used coats and 50 blankets and comforters. 

In December 2025, Lee Chapel Food Pantry partnered with MASH (Make A Smile Happen) to distribute toys to children in the community during the Christmas season, continuing our commitment to bringing joy and support to local families during the holidays.

In addition to food assistance, we continue to distribute new and gently used clothing throughout the year.
