Pink Alliance is the Brazos Valley’s advocate for breast health and cancer support.

Our mission is simple, but powerful:
          • Provide reliable, informative resources
          • Inspire hope through individual and group support
          • Offer access to medical treatment for those with limited means

Established in 2007 by five local breast cancer survivors, Pink Alliance was created to help those facing a breast cancer diagnosis and to address the need for breast health education, awareness, early detection and access to care.

Nearly two decades later, that vision continues to grow.

Today, nine women volunteer their time, talents and experience as members of the Board of Directors, bringing decades of breast cancer survivorship, compassion and hope to our work.

MAKING A LOCAL IMPACT

In 2025, Pink Alliance provided more than $128,000 in direct patient assistance to 80 breast cancer patients, including one man. Assistance helped with deductibles, oncology care, biopsies, surgery, mastectomy bras and compression garments.

Over the past nine years, Pink Alliance has provided more than $810,000 in financial support to local patients with 
limited financial means. In just the first eight months of 2026, more than $92,000 has already been distributed for 
patient services.

EARLY DETECTION MATTERS

In November 2025, Pink Alliance launched THINK PINK Mammograms in partnership with the Brazos Valley Women’s Center of College Station.  Free screening mammograms are offered on the second Friday morning of each month, helping remove financial barriers to early detection.

As of October 2026, 93 women have received free mammograms through the program—with approximately one-third living outside Brazos County.

A breast cancer diagnosis can bring fear, uncertainty and countless questions. Pink Alliance provides more than financial assistance—we provide connection, encouragement and hope.

Pink Alliance hosts the community’s only breast cancer support group, meeting twice each month and led by two breast cancer survivors who represent more than 40 years of survivorship.

In 2025, Pink Alliance provided more than 500 hours of support and outreach to local patients and survivors.

Sometimes, one of the most important things a person needs to hear is:  “You are not alone.”
