I never dreamed that at 49 years old, I’d become a widow. I do believe that there is a reason for everything. Whether God’s plan was that I be involved with Hope Gathering and eventually become a leader…something I never would’ve thought I’d be able to do…or not, it is what I’m passionate about, helping others walking this dreadful journey that I have walked, and am still walking. You never get over your spouse’s passing, no matter how long you’ve been on this road. Hope Gathering is a Christian based nonprofit organization that operates solely off of donations.
