Miss Evelyn has dedicated her life to serving others-shaping young minds at a local elementary school and supporting her community with unwavering kindness and humility. Now retired, she continues to share a warm spirit and loving heart with those around her. Yet, after decades of selfless giving, her home has fallen into severe disrepair. Storms earlier in the year have worsened the damage, leaving her with a leaking roof, a failing foundation, and unsafe living conditions. Water pours in when it rains, and the house is no longer livable.

After a lifetime of service, Miss Evelyn now urgently needs our help. With a roof that is failing, the unstable foundation, and essential services like gas and water unreliable, a complete rebuild is needed. 

Rebuilding Together Brazos Valley (RTBV), an all-volunteer organization, has engaged the City of Bryan and Habitat for Humanity as partners in this effort -but we can't do it without YOU. To complete the rebuild of Miss Evelyn's home and give her the safety and comfort she deserves RTBV needs to raise $40,000.
