When I was given "retirement" during the COVID shutdown, my wife and I moved to the BCS area. 

I learned about this organization, Sleep in Heavenly Peace, at church. Given my new employment status, I had more free time that I could devote to volunteer opportunities so I decided to check it out. 

I was surprised to learn how many school age children were sleeping on the floor, or couch, or sharing a bed with their parents or, in some cases, multiple siblings. There were, literally, thousands of children in need of a bed in the BCS area alone!

As it is with all of us, kids need a good nights sleep in order to function well at school.

 I saw this as a good place to devote my time and a small amount of my income. And, I believe this organization would be a good place for all of us to step in and help fill this void. 

For $200 you can provide one child a complete bed that will last them for years. 

For $40 you can help provide the cost for sheets, pillow and a warm blanket. 

Kids sleeping on the floor is a problem we can easily solve. 

Please consider joining me in helping give children in our community a better start to each day by providing them a bed of their own to sleep in.
