CSISD Education Foundation is a nonprofit organization whose sole purpose is to provide amazing opportunities for 14,000 students, as well as 2,000 teachers and staff, at 19 campuses. The Foundation has invested over $2 million in innovative classroom projects and awarded over $1 million in student scholarships.

"Powering the World" at A&M Consolidated Middle School
Engineering students explore the use of windmills to produce clean energy, by building a windmill to turn on light bulbs. "My favorite part of the project was creating the design. I really liked this because we could be creative which was fun and helpful. I also liked that we could look at all the work we did and be proud of what we made."

The club inspires students to work with their hands and consider a career in a trade . Young apprentices learn about tools, machinery, safety, and project planning, while exploring careers in woodworking, electrical, plumbing and more.
