Jack's Project

Jack’s Project is a nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing joy to kids, hope to families, and the true meaning of life to those at Texas Children’s Hospital.

Jack’s Project began in 2018 after our Founder and President, Rylee Jording, watched her cousin Jack face a leukemia diagnosis for the second time. What began as a desire to bring encouragement during an incredibly difficult season has grown into a mission focused on serving children, families, and hospital staff.

Today, Jack’s Project collects donated items and delivers them to Texas Children’s Hospital. Through hospital visits, donation drives, community partnerships, and outreach, we have the privilege of coming alongside children and families during some of their most difficult days.

JOY TO KIDS

We want to bring moments of joy to children walking through difficult circumstances. Through toys, hospital visits, special events, and other acts of kindness, our hope is to create moments where kids can simply be kids and know that there is a community cheering them on. 

HOPE TO FAMILIES

A hospital stay impacts the entire family. We seek to come alongside families by meeting practical needs, providing toiletries and other necessities, sponsoring families during the Christmas season, and reminding them that they do not have to walk through difficult seasons alone.

THE TRUE MEANING OF LIFE

At the heart of Jack’s Project is our belief in Hope. We believe the greatest hope we can share goes beyond the items we give or the services we provide. Our desire is to reflect the love, hope, joy, kindness.

SERVING THOSE WHO SERVE

Our mission also extends to the incredible hospital staff who care for children and families every day. Through staff appreciation, goodie bags, encouragement, and other acts of service, we want them to know that their work is seen and appreciated.

Everything we do is rooted in a desire to serve intentionally, love people well, and use the resources given to make a meaningful impact.
