Senior Christmas

Our mission is to brighten the lives of Senior Citizens in the Brazos Valley Region by delivering thoughtful Christmas gifts. We serve residents in nursing homes and those living independently with minimal social contact by fulfilling their personal wish lists and providing special request gifts. Through the dedication of our volunteers, we aim to enhance the quality of life for seniors, spreading joy and creating meaningful connections with their communities.

Across the nation, a theme that persists amongst seniors is increased isolation. Whether a person is home bound, living in a long-term care facility, or no longer has loved ones near them, seniors are one of the most at risk demographics for social isolation and subsequent cognitive decline. It's important that we as a community here in the Brazos Valley go the distance to ensure that doesn't happen. During the winter holidays it is especially critical that we involve our seniors in spreading Christmas cheer. It's our goal to preserve and perpetuate the spirit of community, hope, and kindness to our seniors. With some strategic collaboration and community partnerships, Senior Christmas donates gifts to seniors across the Brazos Valley.
