Brazos Valley Blessings has 4 major lines of effort
1) Local Resource Research - Our Community Facebook page has over 10,000 members and empowers members of the community to connect with each other and help each other. This page is managed exclusively by volunteers and is a critical lifeline for families needing assistance with food, diapers, bills, clothing, and other essentials.
2) Women's Empowerment - our organization hosts special events that offer knowledge, encouragement, and connections to women across the Brazos Valley. We find guest speakers and work with attendees on financial literacy, domestic violence red flags, advocating for yourself in a medical setting, personal care and hygiene, goal setting, and other key skills
3) Holiday Support - our organization supports families with gifts and essentials for children 0-18 during the Christmas season and hosts a community Easter event. We know the holidays are hard for many families and we want to support them.
4) Client Closet- This is a rented storage space that we utilize to help our clients have the basic necessities. I.E: paper products, baby Items (diapers, wipes, body care products), feminine hygiene items, etc
