Our mission at Chayah is to use the strength and virtue of the horse to help heal the human soul. Equine-assisted psychotherapy and learning provides a unique and powerful platform for individuals to recover from trauma and mental health issues and to learn life skills and relationship skills. Through interactions with horses, individuals develop empathy, emotional regulation, trust-building skills, responsibility, and assertiveness.

Since our founding in 2020, we have served 100s of individuals using the Chayah Care program within the following populations:
1. Minor boys within the Texas Juvenile Justice Department system - 40 boys each week
2. Veterans with PTSD or mental health issues and their families
3. Individuals and families with mental health or behavioral issues
4. Survivors of human trafficking
5. Minor girls in residential treatment at specialized levels of care.
