Miracle Farm Boys Ranch

Miracle Farm Boys Ranch joins Christ in forging broken and hurting young boys into men of character and purpose. 

Miracle Farm is a residential ranch ministry that, since 1989, has served young men, ages 13-17, facing critical issues in family relationships, behavior, social skills, and academic progress. The ministry operates on a 325-acre working ranch campus located 10 miles northeast of Brenham. Resident clients come from throughout Texas. The majority are from within the triangle of Houston, San Antonio, and Dallas, including the Brazos Valley.

The young men in residence at Miracle Farm come from difficult backgrounds and have experienced varying levels of trauma. We believe to experience true healing one must ultimately embrace a relationship with Christ. The ministry incorporates a trauma-focused approach to serve as the relationship-building bridge needed to help youth and families experience God's healing. All Miracle Farm programming is designed to model, teach, strengthen, and foster healthy interactions and relationships. 

From their first day at Miracle Farm Boys Ranch, each young man is assigned a horse, and he learns how to develop a healthy relationship with their horse. Caregiving tasks such as grooming, cleaning stalls and feeding build the foundations of trust. Team roping teaches cooperation, teamwork and instills a new sense of accomplishment and success. This bond aids Miracle Farm staff in helping each young man apply those skills to their everyday life and to their relationships with their family, teachers, peers and others.

With Miracle Farm's focus on trauma recovery, family restoration, academics, horsemanship, and vocational training, these young men have an opportunity to heal, overcome behavioral and relational challenges, complete education, and become contributing members of society.
