Pride Community Center serves residents in the Brazos Valley by helping to empower queer voices in the community and speak to the lived realities and concerns of LGBTQIA+ individuals in the area. We do this through programs that include safe events for members of the community in an empowering atmosphere; education of local agencies, organizations and businesses of the realities of the lived lives of our community members; support through peer-support groups, bimonthly activities for youth, listening and talkback sessions on public policy, and more; and representation by leadership at interagency and community affairs providing a voice to the concerns of LGBTQIA+ individuals in the Brazos Valley
