RJM provides Chaplain Services to the inmates and staff of the Brazos County Detention Center. The staff consists of one part-time Chaplain and one part-time Administrative Coordinator. A dedicated group of approximately 50 volunteers provide church services and bible studies on a daily/weekly/monthly basis. Life Skills classes are also taught by volunteers (Anger Management and Communications, Personal Finance, Celebrate Recovery, Parenting, Relationship Awareness, Healed Hearts, and Career and Job Goals).

We believe that the imprisoned, their families and victims, as well as the personnel who attend to them, can find hope, healing, and a new life through a personal encounter with Jesus Christ. We see no barriers to proclaiming and receiving God's forgiveness and love. The vision is a community of permanently changed individuals and restored families.
