Sexual Assault Resource Center

About this Organization

The SARC office is centrally located between Bryan/College Station within walking distance of Texas A&M University and provides services to the entire Brazos Valley. Within the 4 programs, SARC provides 24-hour crisis intervention, free and confidential counseling, survivor advocacy and outreach to promote healthy relationships and advance social change.
SARC relies on volunteers, which are the backbone of the organization. Supported by 11 staff and almost 80 volunteers. SARC supports survivors of sexual violence ages 13 and up, in addition to their families and friends. There are no session limits for individual counseling, no time frame in which the assault had to happen to receive services.

SARC is committed to not only addressing the immediate and long term needs of survivors of sexual violence, but also addressing gaps and barriers within services. SARC will continue to serve the survivors in the Brazos Valley that have been impacted by sexual violence and work to end sexual violence.
