Equipped for Life

As a teacher and a mom, I love that a major focus at Citadel is equipping students for life. Both of our children have had many opportunities to practice life skills while at Citadel. Whether in the classroom or representing Citadel in Nashville at the National Beta Club Convention, they have learned to represent Christ as they handle life's celebrations and struggles. In May 2026, our family had the pleasure of seeing our oldest daughter walk across the stage as a Citadel graduate, having begun her journey on this campus in kindergarten. One of her greatest observations as a current college freshman is that she knows how to handle life and to hold fast to her convictions. Our youngest, a sophomore, contintues to grow as a house leader. Much of her confidence comes from what has been instilled in her at school since Pre-Kindergarten.
