Help Us Bring History to Life

At the Museum of the American G.I., we believe history is best understood when you can experience it firsthand. Our educational programming gives students, families, and community members opportunities to explore history through hands-on activities, living history, museum artifacts, and more.

Your donation to our Educational Programming Fund helps us create these experiences and take our educational mission beyond the museum walls.

Each year, programs like our Living History School Day give students the opportunity to step outside the classroom and engage with history through demonstrations, historical interpreters, military vehicles, equipment, and hands-on activities.

We are also developing Traveling Trunks that will bring museum-inspired educational materials directly into classrooms. These kits will give teachers and students the opportunity to explore history through hands-on learning, helping us reach students who may not have the opportunity to visit the museum.

Supporting these programs takes more than great ideas. Donations help provide educational and craft supplies, Traveling Trunk materials, printing, outreach resources, community-event and tabling fees, and other program expenses.

Whether your gift helps fill a Traveling Trunk, supplies materials for a student's activity, or helps us take a program into the community, your support helps make hands-on history possible.

The Museum of the American G.I. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving U.S. military history, honoring those who served, and educating future generations about their sacrifices and contributions.

Help us educate, engage, and inspire.

Donate to our Educational Programming Fund and help us bring history to life—in the museum, in the classroom, and throughout our community.
