The last few weeks I have visited a few different possible sites for Works in Progress. The house that I loved was more work than a nonprofit should consider and so I'm bac at back at step one of just purchasing land.
My thought is to buy the land and add two tiny homes to start off with. Most land loans require 20% down and the properties that I'm considering fall between about $150,000 and $178,000 (for multiple acres of land).
I'm planning eventually to put about three tiny homes per acre. So, if I purchase about 10 acres of land that would be about 15 tiny homes and about 10 duplexes/ triplexes. I love the thought of helping 25 women have better lives!
