Support The Aggieland Art Trail!!

The Aggieland Art Trail isn’t just the Visual Art Society community project—it’s a living, breathing celebration of the creative heartbeat of the Brazos Valley! My journey with the Art Trail grew out of a simple love for community, color, and bringing people together to discover the amazing talent right in our own backyard. Whether helping visitors find their new favorite local mural or sculpture or keeping the wheels turning behind the scenes, being part of this initiative has been an absolute joy.

In my day-to-day involvement, I’ve had the chance to wear a whole collection of fun and dynamic hats. I’ve worked closely with the venue hosts, the artists, and Destination Bryan with the City of Bryan to help bring the trail to life, handling everything from designing trail maps and social media posts, taking photos of the art for the website and the app, managing the website, writing grants to getting in my car and delivering brochures. There is something truly special about talking with artists and with the businesses that are involved. Bridging the gap between artists and businesses is easily one of the most rewarding parts of the job!

On the community and fundraising side, my goal has always been to keep the good vibes rolling and make sure our creative community gets the spotlight it deserves. I’ve been actively involved in welcoming sponsors, helping raise the funds needed to keep the Art Trail vibrant, free, and accessible to everyone. Every dollar raised goes directly toward spreading the word, and keeping the arts thriving in Bryan-College Station. Watching local coffee shops, boutiques, and galleries open their doors to support talent proves just how much love this community has for the arts.

Beyond the logistics and planning, this experience has been a masterclass in grassroots connection, teamwork, and creative problem-solving. It’s given me a front-row seat to the power of. Working with the Aggieland Art Trail has only deepened my passion for building lively, inclusive, and art-filled spaces, and I’m always excited to keep sharing that creative spark wherever I go!
