Brazos Valley Meals on Wheels

It is the mission of Brazos Valley Community Action Programs to assist in the empowerment of individuals, families and communities to reach their full economic, education, wellness, cultural and social potential through the use of community resources.

For the past 47 years, Meals on Wheels has been providing fresh meals to our senior neighbors throughout Brazos, Burleson, Grimes, and Robertson counties. We are a non-profit operating with a small full-time and part-time staff cooking, warehousing, and running daily operations.
It's through the generosity of our volunteers and local donations that we can keep the program operating efficiently and feeding those who truly need assistance. Meals on Wheels has a proven track record of making a significant impact on the lives of homebound seniors and individuals with disabilities. With a clear plan for expansion, we are poised to reach even more individuals in need, ensuring that they receive the nutrition and social interaction necessary for a healthy and fulfilling life. We are confident that with the support of our community, volunteers, and donors, we can achieve our goals and continue to be a vital resource for years to come.
It's not just about the meals, though; it's the personal contact and relationships we build with our seniors, providing them a healthy, better quality of life in their own home environment. For some, we may be the only outside contact they get.
